The organizations involved in the preservation of the 44-tonners covered on this website have spent a considerable amount of time compiling data on these unique and diminutive locomotives. We have provided several original GE documents below in the hope that they will be of service to other groups attempting to keep these historic locomotives operating in the 21st century.
